I received these bows the beginning of June from Mike, set them up for the boys and gave them the bows when we got to Comptons last Thursday. These lil bows are SWEET!! here they are shooting, having fun , and being silly! Darren managed to pull off a great shot even when his shades fell off his head. Awesome! In the process of ordering one from Mike for my boy.
Do you mind sharing the age of your youngest and the particulars of the bow? They appear to be the pup longbows, which are 48". What draw weight and length did you go with?
Great pictures and thanks,
~CB
Rafael, youre a good Uncle :clapper:
ChromeBuck, Darren is 8 years old and his bow is 22lbs at 25in draw, he is not pulling 25 inches , but he is handling the weight just fine with no problems, these lil bows really SMOKE an arrow.
Memories to last a life time! Gotta love it! :D
Great! Thank you for sharing. I have two Maddog Pups coming as well. The grand kids are going to luv 'em!
That's awesome bud.
Thanks. I realized you posted their ages later. Pictures instantly negate any text in a post... Or is it just me... Anyway, my little guy is almost 3 and I will likely have to go with the recurve pup just for the NTN length relative to his height. For the money these seem hard to beat. Custom and very cool.
Nice going Uncle!

What a great story.
Great looking bows, looks like the boys really enjoyed them.
Looks like the boys are having a good time! Those are really nice looking youth bows. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Looks like the big guys eyes are starting to wander to other targets. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Awesome Pics! Thanks for sharing!
My girl has a pup recurve that Mike donated to a Vermonster giveaway. She has just about out grown it and if I don't make her next bow I will be ordering a new one from Mike. They are great bows.
( GREATBROWNKNOCKEMDOWN- These lil bows are SWEAT!! )
Ya they are! Just got two yesterday, one for nephew and his buddy. Looks like the boys are really enjoying them, that's great!!
Great looking bows and young guys right there. They were having a ball with those bows when I saw them shooting on the kids shooting area.
That Darren though was a bit of a problem. I had to get after him a couple times about keeping his hands off my daughter's...................arrows. :D I had to track him down to get them back a couple times. "No buddy your arrows are red and white fletched, but with yellow nocks not white nocks." :biglaugh:
Todd, LOL!!! thats to funny, sorry about that, they just started shooting, and i think they think they are the only ones with arrows that made that way. :knothead:

My daughter's pup longbow will be done tomorrow. She can't wait, (and neither can I!).
The excitement you see at the kids shooting areas is electrifying. Everyone should spend some time there watching and enjoying it. The robot deer was a big hit.
Bring those boys back this way for the GLLI. That is a great shoot also.
