Finally starting my journey into Traditional archery and just got my first recurve and began shooting yesterday. Been trying to catch up on the tons of info that you guys have laid out here to try and make this transition from compound to recurve smoother.
I dont have many Traditional shooters close to me in Central Louisiana so I will be picking 'yalls brains and probably posting a few videos as I get started for some critiquing.

Howdy from Centeral Texas...
I started shooting yesterday and couldnt get enough. In fact, between my shoulder blades, fingertips and for some reason my right hamstring are sore today, LOL!
My 5 yards groups were OK and I backed up to about 10 yards and it didnt take long for me to learn that........I had a lot to learn.
My starter bow is a Samick Osprey.

I am new to the Trad Gang also and originaly from Baker La. Now live in Charlotte NC.
