Title: Fletchtite and laquer paint UPDATE W/ PICS
Post by: TSHOOTER on June 21, 2011, 12:36:00 AM
I'm going to spray crest carbons with Rustoleum white laquer.  Does anyone know if fletchtite platinum is ok to use with laquer paint?  Thanks

You're good to go. Fletchtite works on laquer as does Duco. Duco won't work on Fletchlac.

Just finished with help from the little man.  Used fletch tape because the fletchtite platinum ate the paint.  It must be different than regular fletchtite.

Not a problem Charlie.  It just reminded me of how much I love fletch tape.  Thanks

Sweet looking arrows there, how did you achieve the fade like that?

Thanks... I just sprayed the flourescent right at the end of the crest while turning the shaft by hand.  Make sure you wait long enough for the white to dry good or the flourescent will bubble.
