I have always Wanted a Silvertip and a few months a go I shot a very nice one belonging to a friend
It was a very handsome bow and shot very well. Well I called Beth and started talking. Glad I did
She is a wonderful person to deal with and honestly this was one of the nicest bow buying expierences I have had
I have read alot about the late great Paul Schafer and always loved how he hunted with a rather plain bow and I did not want to order to fancy of a piece. When they are to prety I seem to leave them home. I wanted a hardcore special hunting bow
I love the old school camo and when I started to ask Beth about it I was thrilled to hear they had a set of old school camo limbs that would meet my weight and had the ability to be FF. I was stoked and imediately new it was ment to be. These will be if not the last one one of the last old school camo to leave the shop they have a cool Matte finish according to Beth.
Big Thanks to Dave and Beth
So here are the final spec's and when I get the bow I will set it up and take some more pics

Good looking bow.
Too bad Dave was wearing those mirror-lensed glasses again while he worked -- got the sight window backwards! :)
Love the riser and tips.
why is that the last of the old school camo for the Silvertips? I like it better than the fancy woods.

Thanks Lin it was great to see ya at Blade
Thanks everyone for the kind comments
Does anyone know do Schafers like a stiff arrow
Yes they do. I shoot a 56# Tip and it shoots 60-65's like darts. I have owned 4 Schafers and they all have taken one 5# increment in spine higher than the weight of the bow. By the way, I can't tell you how jealous of those camo limbs I am!
I want one!
Those camo limbs are insane - I can't wait until its on the classifieds
Great looking bow , love that old style camo!!
Congrats:)
The Schafer bows are awesome!
Real nice...looks like a fine looking lady without a lot of make-up on. You did well.
Great bows, you'll love it.
Well it came today
I threw a string on and grabbed my Fedora 560's arrows which I alwats keep a bare fletch one around and this was the first group 15 yds not tuned right out of the box

First thing I noticed is how well made this bow is
Beautiful checkering rather heavy in the hand compared to my one piece's but real smooth and stable for a 58 incher
Was very pleased it liked my other hunting bows arrows and on the chrono was spitting 185 FPS
Added a quiver some limb savers, fur silencers and limb tip hair and took off the rug rest and put on a nice piece of seal skin and this dogs ready to hunt
Real happy thanks Dave and Beth
Thank you all for looking and your kind words

Another beautiful Silvertip! :clapper:
Congrats!!
Took a break and finished up with this as my last 3 shots at 15 yds

It is a wonderful thing when both bows you plan to hunt with will tune to the same arrow
My 560 which shoots 195 fps with this arrow is 10 fps faster than the Silvertip which I could care less about but my point is different bows feel different but like the same arrow always amazes me and never happens for me and I am always making arrows for a new bow
They are about the same weight with in a pound or so
I have a Buffalo that might get put into the rotation but 3 bows are alot to hunt with for me t least and as much as I like the Hoyt I cant get awat from the wood
So I do believe due to its weight the Fedora will get used for pushes and drive and general stalking and the Silvertip will go to the trees and blinds but who knows the silvertip might get run pretty hard this year :)
The Fedora

The best part is shooting that beauty. Hunting with one is just fun!
