I was so busy getting ready for my bear hunt with the TallTines crew, I did not have any time to take any photos of my latest TT longbow. I figured that would be OK, I would get some nice ones on a FRESH bear. Not this time, so I had to settle for an old rug. I was changing out the shelf rug last night and figured I would try to get some photos.
I wanted to show the strung profile. I never like these pictures because I have not figured out a decent way to do it, but it is kind of mandatory...

Steve, that is sweeeet! Glad you did a strung profile though, I agree it is kind of a pain. :) Congrats on a fine looking bow. I'd be afraid to take it in the woods! :scared:
This weight should work for anything, even when I am a geezer :D

This bow feels fantastic and has the typical TallTines speed and silence
What do you mean "even when I am..." :D
That is a fine looking stick you got there.
TW, thanks. And IMO, if you don't ever plan on selling them, those bumps and bruises are just good memories.
Now, this stuff here always amazes me. Same bow, pretty much the same shot, but different camera settings.

One day I am going to get some bow photos like joe vt, but for now all I can do is fiddle and learn.
Steve, sweet some of my prefered wood combo.
Felix, you have great taste...and so does my favorite outfitter MISTER Stickflinger! I was happy to see, other that 2" in length, Ryan and I had matching TT longbows. That will be handy if we ever crush one on a quad!

Fine looking bow Steve. The woods compliment each as good as any bow I've seen, just beautiful!
Steve, that bow looks like another winner to join the collection of TT you already have.
Nice one bud!
Shot one in Kalamazoo. Had a real hard time leaving without it, super shooting bows
Good looking bow Steve.
Great combination of woods.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to try one somewhere down the line. :clapper:
 Very nice bow, looks like it shoots very well for you.
Yeah, I have found the best way to do it is give BW an idea of what I am looking for and let him tell me what he has that will get me there. When you are ordering and he says, "I have some nice xxyyzz that would go good on that", just stop him there and send in the deposit!
Wait till you all see the one piece recurve. I heard rumors that R&D is done and production starts SOON!
Sweet looking bow :clapper:
Bill
Sweet bow!
Gorgeous bow!!
Cool bow Steve O, I shot Ryan's the other night, very nice!!!!!
Earl, been meaning to congratulate you on your bear. That is a very satisfying accomplishment I bet!
Thanks for posting Steve! I am shooting mine better than my R/C right now.....that's a first for me!
Hey Earl,I see a new Avatar.LOL.
Good looking bow! I have an Ebony and Myrtlewood Wallace that shoots as good as it looks too. 64" 60@28" Mentor recurve. Smooth, powerful and confidence inspiring. I would love to try Tall Tines as I've heard nothing but great things. Thanks for the camera bag, recieved it yesterday. Take care!
Hey steve are you going to be the first one with the one piece?

Beauty Steve O! Love my Talltines Longbow! This is the closest this bear will get to a rug. Next time he and my Talltines meet will be when the mount is done :)
You and Ryan have some pretty bows. I gots me an idea with that ebony and an elk hunt next year ;)
My o' my, that is sleek and sexy! ^^
Nice looking bow Steve. It is trully amazing how a different camera setting can cbagr to whole picture.
Gosh Mike, that is such a great bear! I want a picture like that SO bad...
Dirtybird, I don't think I will be first, but I will be happiest :archer: .
I did see the rough finished final design of the one piece though. The best way I can describe it is "elegant".
Steve, I got so lucky, and I know it. Doesn't hurt to have a good outfitter ;) Besides pal, you have killed so many great animals! That beauty of a Talltines will look awesome next to that giant buck you're gonna kill this fall :)
Thats a Beautifimus Bow Steve O!!
Gorgeous. A one piece 'curve made me sit up straight. I look forward to that.
Steve - Beautiful bow!
Mike - Bear too!
Tom, there should be finished 1 piece pics by the end of the week.
Well let me tell you about the one piece I have ordered!
I've just fallen in love with the Myrtle that Brian gets his hands on so thought I'd order a 3rd TT for the collection. I'm going with an all Myrtle one piece (60") at around #55 with a Macasser Ebony inlayed flare. Likely going to be the nicest bow in the world!!
That gives me a 3 piece 60", with a phenolic riser and #47 Myrtle limbs..... a 62" 3 piece longbow with Macasser Ebony riser and #56 Myrtle limbs,....and soon the one piece TT.
Jealous???
Lol..... once you start buying longbows, its hard to quit! Nice looking bows guys.
:goldtooth: I may be the ONE guy who will not be jealous.
I told BW he has carte blanche on my one piece...
Is it June yet?
Yes Sir!!!! Very, very nice Steve....
That grip looks exceptional :)
Congrats!!
:coffee:
Steve that first pic made me think of the ACS bows. A lot of R&D in a similar design. Must be a winner! Great looking wood combination. Brian really has "THE EYE" doesn't he? Can't wait to see some spilt blood on that one.
Mike
I shot his prototype 3 piece take-down longbow at Denton Hill last July and it shot like described above. Simply fantastic shooting bows. If I wasn't so invested in Bob Morrisons longbows, I would have jumped all over one of BW's. Enjoy the bow! Steve
Well Ryan and Steve, you guys have a very nice TT collection. I'm very excited to see the one piece myself. I do like longbows but there is just something about recurves that bring me back to them. I love the flowing lines or curves. And I couldn't agree more that BW has an eye for beauty.
 Nery nice!
It was very cool to see both Ryan's and Steve's bows together at Stickflingers bear camp. I'm glad Brian is finding the time to give us more options to choose from. mike
Very nice looking bow. I have one on order and am looking forward to getting it.
Up for Lone Hunter Mike to take a look.
Also, I talked to Brian yesterday about another bow he is finishing for me and in the conversation it came out that his new hybrid longbow limb is finalized and ready for debut. This limb will fit the current longbow riser and they SMOKE an arrow!
Really nice looking longbow!!! Interesting way of adding wood to the arrow shelf.
I want to try a TT longbow soooo bad!! I love 3pc bows and I love the 'D' shape profile.
Thanks for compliment Steve.
Send that bad boy to me and I will shoot it with arrows and a camera :)
I shot this bow last year when we were goose hunting in Iowa.
Thisa will be my next bow.
George
George....Thisa bow a nota for salea... :biglaugh:
I am sure you can order one "justa like it" from Brian.
Anyway, here is a picture of the new hybrid limbs compared to the recurve limb:
