I like the looks of her, very nice! Congrats!
John, Take a deep breath... OK calm down! Perhaps lay off the Cokes and Coffee for a while. These are my favorite threads, I love the excitement that guys have over their new bows. I understand, I got a new Leon Stewart a few months ago and I'm still worked up. I am happy for you and sad for those who do not enjoy Traditional Archery. Thanks for sharing and posting the pictures.
She's a looker! Mike does extra fine work & a credit to the profession. Not a halfbad guy either.
Yep, Mike's one of the good guys. Nice bow ya got there.
Beautiful bow! Congrats. :clapper:
Very nice bow!!
Awesome
Congrats!
Awesome bow
Sweet! I like the contrast between the dark glass and light wood.
I really like that bow and like many have already said Mike is one of best bowyers a guy could work with! His bows are as solid as he is!
Travis
Thanks for all the comments. I cant even begin to explain how good this bow really shoots. Amazing piece of equipment. Thanks Mike!
You Maddog guys are KILLING me!!! I ordered one of his Midsize Recurves and am patiently waiting(YEAH RIGHT!). I can't wait to get mine. Congrats GreyGhost that's a really good looking bow. What wood/woods did you use and I agree with the other posts that the light wood with the dark glass looks very classy!
Hi praise assestment in considering the Montana is 4"s longer and my experience with the Montana has been notably pleasing.
Glad to here your new Maddog is the ticket.
Have a TG buddy who has been contemplating a Maddog. He will hear about your excitment today.
Thanks for sharing.
That's a sweet ride :)
Sweet lookin' bow! Bet it'll be even sweeter when you get her setup and tuned up.
John, congratulations... that is one nice looking bow!
americanhunter7. I had Mike use all maple with black glass. I really like the light color of maple. A buddy of mine has a solid maple self bow with diamondback backing and I really like the looks of it. That's really the reason I went with maple. I had thought about bubinga at first but then I saw the self bow my friend has and had no doubt about going with maple.
That is a really good looking and simple combo that looks great! I have Mike building me one with Osage, Sassafrass, and Brown glass, I can't wait....You gonna post some pics of you shooting it to let us other Maddog guys be jealous of how good it shoots?
Very nice! :clapper:
Very nice! Congrats!
Nothing out there beats a Maddog!
Thanks for the kind words everyone and John thanks for your order and getting the word out.
Real nice.
Theyre not just for looking at they shoot good too. (sorry about the gut showing...the shirt was little small!

Shoot shooting Ted.
Nice bow!!!
What a great bow! We think alike. Love them Maddogs!
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a fine bow like everyone else -- nothing less than a work of art.
However, call me a simple man... give me nothing fancy but some North American hardwoods glued together. That's what warms my heart.
I have another Maddog coming soon too!
Honestly If I could get by with it I make them all from either American hard woods of American manufactured woods (Dymond wood, action wood, spectraply, etc.) but I think I'd loose about 3/4" of my work if I did that.
Nice shooting canshooter! :clapper:
Great looking bow too Mike!
Love the light-on-dark contrast!
