Title: Dryad Bows .. .new graphics
Post by: wingnut on June 14, 2011, 07:37:00 AM
Well as you wander and wonder around Compton look for our new graphics and partner. John Havard formally of A&H Archery has joined forces with Dryad Bows along with the ACS limb designs. It's going to be a fun future with the combined efforts.

Stop by and say howdy to John, Connie and me at the booth.

If Johns not with A&H anymore, what does that do to them?

I like the new design.  Wingnut, I assume you were the model for the design, did you hit anything with the 5 arrows?

Hey Crash,

Everything at A&H remains the same.  I am providing Larry and the gang with  a license to continue building and selling their fine products utilizing ACS technology.

I'll be working with Mike & Jason on expanding the ACS line of bows, with emphasis on ILF limbs as well as newly designed ACS longbows & recurves.

You can think of it as a new line of bows that will be complementary to the bows being built by A&H.  An expansion of the ACS line of bows with very little overlap between the two companies is probably the most accurate way to describe it.

John, When did you move to CA? Good luck with the new venture guys.
Crash, have you seen the original of that art work?. I am just glad it was cropped to fit the graphics.   ;)

Hey  Chuck,

Yep, we wanted to make the original artwork fully acceptable for everyone so we clipped and cropped a bit.

The wife and I moved to Marin County back in October.  Definitely mixed feelings, with a lot of sadness at leaving such great friends back in the Midwest.  But we're getting settled in here and are beginning to have this place feel like home.

I bet the winters are lots more better. I had a giggle when I saw the artwork and almost spit pop all over the computer when I read what Crash posted. Good luck to the three outfits involved
(Larry,Mike And yourself),
See you this weekend?

Well Rick, the Chicago area wasn't any bargain either from the standpoint of taxes or overall cost of living.  I generally find that most places have good people and have an adequate number of redeeming qualities.  I haven't found enough hunting opportunities here yet but now that we're settled I'm beginning to work that problem a bit more.

I just joined the San Francisco Archers in Pacifica and hope to find a club up here in Marin County soon.  Maybe we can run into one another at a Pacifica shoot?

I'll be leaving for the airport in another couple of hours.  Anyone who can should come by and see us at the Dryad booth.

John
