Well, I got home and opened the box that was waiting for me on the counter. Bolted it together, strung it up grabbed a dozen arrows and headed out.
Here is a picture of the first dozen shots taken at 15 yards.

So I stepped back to 25 yards and let 3 of them fly.

I now need to start with some full length shafts, and get them tuned to make a ton more arrows for this new set of limbs. If someone would be so kind to plug my numbers into Stu's calculator for me, I would be very appreciative. I need to find what length my shafts shoud be.
My #'s are as follows. 46# @ 28" RER LXR (longbow limbs), drawn to 28". tipped with 125 heads, and fletched with 3-5 3/8" banana feathers. I'm using 60-65# shafts, and will continue to use them, I just need to find out what length to cut them to get me close instead of doing 1/4" cuts from 32" shafts.
This is some of the prettiest veneer wood I have seen. The colors flow so well into the riser that has bloodwood and bacote. The chocolate leather grip is just icing on the cake.
After putting 2 dozen thru this bow, I put it up so as not to reinjure my shoulder. I just couldn't resist the temptation to shoot "The Gnat Assassin". She was calling to me, and putting the word out there to all the critters to stay the heck from in front of her, for she is very deadly.
A couple more pics

Looking good Mike
 Nice! Good looking arrows also.
Nice looking bow Mike....it's obvious you're already enjoying how she shoots!
How about a close up of your riser too. Nice looking rig, those RER bows are shooters for sure. Take care of your shoulder!
After all the crap I have gone thru with my shoulder in the last 3 months, I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get it to full draw, but curiosity got the better of me, and it was a perfect fit. I just didn't want to over do it and put her away untill I know I'm back to 100%.
I now have my final bow, atleast that is what I told my wife (shhhhhhhhhh). It has 3 sets of limbs, and will kill anything I will ever be able to afford to hunt. Plus it is a great bow for my boys when they get older and need to step up in weight.

Here is a picture of the riser before I got Chuck at TwoTracks to put a leather grip on for me.

I have a matching set of bacote and bloodwood 64" longbow and recurve limbs that are 57# each.
Cool deal! Now the 46# ers will spoil you and the 57#ers will sit.
Mike
Nice feathers you got there, glad the chopper is working out for you.

That is actually my feather burned ones. I preferred that burn over the cut from the chopper, but I had to try it to see if it was any better.
As for the 57# limbs sitting...until my boys want to shoot them, I see no need to bring them out unless I am going for elk or moose. It is nice to have the option of just changing out limbs when you feel like it and keeping the same feel of the bow you are very comfortable with.
Mike, Nice shooting....
Your woodies are fantastic, congratulations on a fatastic bow, those RER's are outstanding....

Very nice bow!
