have you shot one and what did you think of it
A buddy of mine has a new 50# super grizzly he let me shoot a few times the other day and it is a very pleasant shooting bow
Great shooting bows.Fast and quiet.

I shot a new one today and a new k-mag. Personally I really liked the k-mag it seemed smoother and I shot it really well.

I still have my ole 45# 72' model but my bud has it right now & it still shoots pretty darned good.
Bump - Anyone else have any comments on this one??
I have only shot the older 1970's Super Grizzly. I have 2 of them. I like them. The 58" length is convenient. Heavier than the regular Grizzly, but with the weight comes more stability.

I haven't shot the new Super Grizzly, but I do have one from the 70's 55#, and it shoots great.
I shot the newer one recently at Bass Pro and several other new Bears. Shot very nice, no speed burner but who cares, it was quiet and could be made really quiet with some bowhush and puppies. I really wish they would put a nice hard radius to the shelf. All in all nice bows the finish is back up to snuff, which was lacking in the late 90's and early 2000's. Shawn

I have a 70's model, but the 58" is just a tad short for my long draw. It seems to stack a little worse than my Kodiaks.
Way back when the Super Grizz was new, it was said around here that the Super Griz could shoot a faster arrow than the Super Kodiak but was not as smooth if your draw over 28". My own experience with them was that they were a little faster than my takedowns at my draw that I had at that time 28 plus and noticeably faster at 27" or less draw than the metal takedown Bears.
I used to own an early seventies model. It was a good shooting bow. My draw is 27" though. I love those bows with Fascor limbs!
