Should be around 57", if the bow is indeed 60" AMO length.

Like said it should be around 57",I prefer to measure the actual bows length from nock to nock.I've had three 64" bows and all three were different in length up to 3/4" from what was marked.Or measure the old string if you have one.

Measure the old string.  AMO/ATA is a shot in the dark, as lots of bows don't follow the specs.  If you don't have an old string, make a string with one loop and tie a timber hitch/bowyer's knot in the other.  Keep it up until the brace is correct, measure the string, then make one to fit.

I agree with Chad, most "Custom" built bows don't follow specs!

These are "custom" built bows!

AMO Standards, haven't held water since it's inception! With the invention of the "Wheels",
what's the point?

Like said, use the existing string for reference, or longer string with a bowyer's knot.

+1

I'd say for every 1 I make that is AMO I make at least 10 that aren't.

Never guess!

Thanks,
