Well, with the arrival of my new Steve Abbott longbow, I am now officially a one bow man. She is a sweet 66", 46# @ my 29" draw. Bubinga riser and limb tips, Black Walnut handle and upper belly overlays, plus Yew limbs with a center lam of Bamboo. I got my brace height set, put on some wool silencers and on my 3rd set of three, tightened my group to what you see in the pics. Approx 15yds.

I found that with my Dan Toelke tab, my release was improved 10 fold over my glove and combined with this bow, made an extremely quiet shooting affair. :D
Nice looking bow, and nice shootin' T.W.
Got yourself a really nice Abbott.
Steve makes a great longbow. Great shooting! Enjoy it T.W.
Here's a couple of shots to see how she bends. (Click the first pic) The second pic is of those two shots 'cause the wife stopped filming too soon instead of following me down to the target.

Looks like you have a keeper there. Steve does make a nice longbow.
Bill
Nice looking bow TW!
It looks like it works for you as well.
God bless,Mudd
Thank you Roy. Since it is now my only bow, it sure simplifies what to hunt with this year! :biglaugh:
Beautiful bow!!! Glad u found that special one!
Nice lookin' bow TW! I reckon the elk are in serious danger with that equipage and proficiency brother!
Looks good, best of luck hunting with her this fall!!
Thanks everyone!
Kenny, bow is only 46# at my draw. Not heavy enough for elk in the state of Oregon. Need a 50# minimum and right now my shoulder won't handle that consistently. But, if an unsuspecting blacktail happens along, oooh brother, better watch out! :biglaugh:
I have knowen Steve for years. He makes a great bow at a fair price. I have owened about 10 of them over the years......
So....you're down to one bow...anything left to sell??? :)
Congrats! Beautiful bow. Really great to see folks excited about their bows!
Haven't tried a true longbow yet myself.
Colin, I have a few things I'm listing for trades and such. Like arrows or broadheads. I'm not sure if I'm going to list any of the quivers I've got as I like to change things around and they all get used sooner or later. :D Pretty much out of things to sell now.
