Was wondering if any of you fellas could post some pictures of your bows with white glass limbs. Think I saw a pic of a Bear polar (I think that's what it was) with white limbs that looked pretty hot. Been thinking that the brown and white glass has a classic look to it...
Thanks all!
:campfire:
Hi Kiefer! We've got two white bows, a 27 lb Browning Prep recurve and a 32 lb Border Bows "McTavish" from the mid '60's. Both great target bows. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of the McTavish from another old thread on here--it has a really unique look.
Cheers,
Brett
These don't belong to me but they are pretty.

I have a Jack Howard Jet with white glass on the belly. You'll have to wait for a pice though.
I have a '62 Polar that was just in the classifieds with white limbs along with a '59 KS with gray limbs. Sold the KS but the Polar is still on my rack.
Also have a '62 Grizzly with white limbs and they definitely are classy looking-although a little bright for hunting in my opinion but with some "retro" limb covers these bows are quite servicable.

Killdeer
no pics wider than 640 please.
Like the big bad one above I'm kind of partial to Ol' Jack's black on the back and white on the belly myself. Here's my 59 lb Gamemaster Jet.

Wow guys, thanks for all the pics! They all look great. The whole black on the back and white on the belly is cool to with that HH and the Game Master.

what an absolutely GORGEOUS, classy classic 60's era recurve! i've had a bunch of similar howatts and bears with those same, oh-so-stylish curves. just bee-you-tee-ful and brings back lotsa memories.
You beat me to it, Rob. I really like the dark back/light belly idea. And that one is as you said.
Kiefer,I've got a drop dead gorgeous Early Chek-mate with white limbs and a Brazilian rosewood riser,I don't know how to post pics but I could email them to you if you would like .

This is a 63 Kodiak special I cleaned up, unfortunately it Blew up before we could really get to know each other. It had a glue line failure between the cheery end cap and the other riser wood.
Guys, can't thank you enough for the pics! I know for sure my next bow will have brown or white glass, just need to decide I guess. Thanks again for the pics, they are all beautiful bows!
Kief
I dont have a pic yet but I am building the wife a bow with white glass on the belly and pink camo under clear glass on the back. I'll post it when I get them done.

I am pretty sure Steve Turay of Northern Mist longbows has white glass offered. I know he has been recently makeing bows with white belly and green back glass. They look really classic
I have one Bobby. "Northern Mist Classic" Green back White belly. babinga riser. Just like ole Bob Swienhart used to shoot.
Oh And Steve, Me like that Jet. very nice.
I've recently become addicted to the Howard Jet. They are like no other bow I've shot.
However, I love the Gamemaster Classic too.
