Don't know how this is going to work out but hear it goes. I'm trying to set the bottom mount about 4" back. cant wait to see the finished photos
Quiver almost done drilled the piece of aluminum and placed in the leather sleeve but I still need one more Chicago screw to attach the rubber strap .I'll pick one up in the morning and see if this thing works (http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx186/longbow69/DSC01259.jpg)
Nice, cant wait to see what the angle looks like once it is mounted.
Looks good Thump. You won't need such a heavy piece of aluminum though. The strap will flex at the bow and even the lightest piece of aluminum won't bend.
I have an adaptor that I have been working on, but just haven't had enough time to perfect it. Looks like your doing a good job.
good luck, bigjim
Thanks Jim, I'll bring it to compton along with my ThermaCELL.

OK, I will Bite.... WHAT is a "Chicago Screw"?? :archer:
Shakes My grandfather called them that. At Lowes they are listed as post screws
Got the quiver done and it does sit the arrows back a little. Most important is theirs no vibration or noise (http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx186/longbow69/DSC01261.jpg) (http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx186/longbow69/DSC01260.jpg)
Looks great!
Very nice job. The upper hood seems to be into the working part of the limb. Do you notice any difference when you shoot?
Nice job looks great!
LOL! You remind me of Me,Just can't leave things be.I'm forever modifying and tinkering.Your bracket looks good.
Yup I agree bring that hood down to the fadeout and it would also give you more angle. Still looks good, I just made one for my Buffalo.
Definitely bring that upper hood down closer the handle. I prefer to keep the quiver on the riser completely, but with your riser being so short you may have stop at the fadeout. The closer to the riser you bring the quiver, the less it will alter the bow's performance. As mentioned, bringing it in some will also increase the "set back" of the feathers.
Nice job overall.
Thanks for the advice on the hood placement I didn't notice it. I'll fix that tonight when I get home from work.
By George, I think you are onto something there, maybe Big Jim could offer that as an option, giving credit where it is due of course.
