Hi,
After finishing my arrows for the refinished longbow yesterday i was keen on trying them in the field so ive been out for 1 1/2 hours after work today and took the camera with me.
At first i really didnt like the locator grip of the longbow and the handshock was pretty awfull too. But after putting a 10 strand astroflight string on and getting used to the new kind of grip i absolutely love it! Its so lightweight and silent it just feels natural.
and the shooting beens quite good, too.

The start of a small but steep gorge:

Thanks! Yes, my opinion excactly would be better than a police officer with a semi-automatic weapon who needs a whole magazine for one sow (seen it on TV

)
But thats mostly Berlin, round here they are hard pressured and very elusive (Im in the north of Bavaria).
Some sweet woodsland there sir & looks to be a great historical town.
Awesome...thanks for sharing!!
Great scenery, thanks for sharing. Your town looks much different that here in Wisconsin.
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Beautiful area. Is hunting allowed?
Beautiful area man, good, ethical, clean kill on those stumps! :clapper: :biglaugh:
Axel, Nice tread, to sit at the end of the day with an adult beverage and get a feel for a stump shooter in Europe. Nice. I'm not good at the tech stuff, and glad to learn that the changing of the string helped with how the new bow performed for you.
Thanks for sharing, Axel. Those are some great pics.
Cool ,looks like a good time!!
Thanks alot for the kind words.

Its my favourite way of shooting. I am in a club and we have our own 3Dcourse but it doesnt beat free range roving for me.

No bowhunting allowed in Germany, sadly. Only rifles.
That's a shame,beautiful country.
That's a nice play to roving. Beautiful looking woods. Too bad bowhunting isn't allowed in Germany. That's a bummer.
Nice pics. Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Stump huntin is my favorite form of practice!
Cool pictures, thanks for sharing. I have the same problem , no Bowhunting here either. although we are trying to change that :)
Nice arrows,thankyou for sharing.
It's not often you hear that hunting with a rifle is ok but bow is not. Seems back@sswards IMO.
Beautiful country.
Looks great. Thanks for sharing!
