I got my new bow today with both sets of limbs 46# longbow and 47# recurve limbs. The riser is a 19" longbow riser with a awesome grip like every bob lee. This one is extra special since Mr.Lee signed it for me.
The bow is 62" with both sets of limbs.
JJ was very helpful when I ordered and they done a great job on my bow.

My first custom made recurve was a 64", 44# @ 30" Bob Lee Signature Hunter TD. It was signed by both Bob Lee and his son Rob Lee since Bob made the riser and Rob made the limbs.

very nice and a good choice
BWD- they use fullerplast for the finish.
Very nice looking bow! It caused me to check out the website and various models.
I was most curious about the Dark Archer. I remembering0admiring a bow back in the early 70's. It was solid black (Phenolic or Micarta--same thing?) and called, I think...Thunderbird? It seems as if it had a heavier (more massive) riser than the Dark Archer?
Bowwild -
The Dark Archer is a great shooting little bow. Haven't seen a Thunderbird with the micarta riser (although I feel certain that Bob made one). The Presentation (late 60's early 70's) did sport a micarta riser. Here is a photo of the bow and it is currently hanging on the wall of Bob's new shop.

I have a Bob Lee Classic (3 piece recurve) that is solid Micarta. It's 3.6 lbs. My BW PSAX is 3.4 for comparision. It shoots great. I like the extra mass.
Very nice!Great choice.
Great looking bow and they shoot very well. Congratulations on the purchase may you have great success with it.
That is one great looking bow, Bob Lee's the best! :) I can't get enough of em, sweet shooters, my wife tells me if I keep buying Lee bows she's gonna have to find me a second job! :)
Real nice bow.
Passthru,
Thanks for that comparison. I have a PAX and PCHX. I can relate very well to your analogy. I have a short draw (26") so I'm thinking a 54" Dark Archer might be a really nice fit for me. I have never owned a Bob Lee.
Good looking bow.
Very nice bow I love the grips on the bob lee
A really distinctive and appealing bow!
mighty shiny bro
