The old green kmag 45#(47)under striker plate shoots my beeman full length 400's like laser beams! I did put a elevated rest on the bow and adjusted the nocking point but I'm leaning towards the kmag to hunt with this season! My longbow is a cheap adrondack hunter and shoots decent but nothing line the old bear...I'm on the pass around list for chad's right handed bow and after that I will possibly order one....that's the bow I want but until then I will keep shooting old fred!
I was talking with my uncle from Texas a few weeks ago and he said he had an old green bear somewhere in his garage. I told him it was a K-Mag and ask him to bring it up to KS next time he came. Well he came back last week and brought it with him. Sure enough its a 55@28 K-Mag. After my first four shots I was amazed at how hard it hit and how fast it was. My next four arrows were all touching, I grabbed my phone and asked how much he wanted for it lol. He didn't sell it to me but told me to keep it and take care of it till he moves up in about six years :goldtooth: Very nice bows!
I have too many bows, and am always eyeballing new ones. Much as I like my Centaurs, Morrisons and Stewarts, picking up a K-Mag is like coming home for Thanksgiving. It is an old friend, adopted into the family. It is warm and comfortable, and reliable as my '66 Dart. I know what to expect, and it's all good!
Comfort food for the archery woods.

My father-in-law gave me one a couple of years ago. They are sweet and someday soon I will pass it down to his grandson.
