Well yesterday was free fishing day in Utah, and the The Bowfishing organization here put on a Carpoolza up at Benson Marina in Cache Valley. I got to take 3 nephews that had never been hunting before!
Now the oldest one, he didn't take to the water so well, he stayed in the boat while the younger 2, well they were all over it!!! :archer2:
The water here is still pretty much in runoff stage and was in the mid to high 50's so for the most part it was a bit slow, but a ton of fun!!

This is one of the five that I was able to arrow!
It was a great time, and being able to introduce these boys to bowhunting was great!!! With in about a week, Jay will have enough saved up to go and get him a bow that will be big enough for him to hunt deer with!!!
Thanks,
Looks like a great time and thanks for helping some youngsters make some memories. Well done.
Great pics., and the boys look like they are having a blast.

Ah, Bowfishing Baptism! Nothing better for Kids.... and Grownups, too!
Forgot to mention, both boys hit fish, Bill got a scale off one to take home as a trophy!!!!
Boy does that bring back memories. I grew up in Salt lake and spring bowfishing was one of my favorite, skip school, activities. Farmington, Brigham, and Bear Lake. Thanks for the flashback and good on you for starting the younguns right. Bill
