Well, open the box and let us see your new Widder!!! :clapper:
-
Open her up...let's have a look!!!!!
-
OH I hate teasers, open it, open it, open it :banghead:
-
It is a 62" PSA X I chose Ironwood, with ash accents and Olive Ash and actual ironwood veneers on the front so the bow looks uniform facing the target. No phenolic, white glass, all red removed white/black on limb tips.
It's 62# at 31 inches and it shoots amazing, the most consistent bow I've ever shot. I'm just building a little strength in my bow arm because it is heavier than my last set up. Once I get my SBD string and thunderhorn quiver, I'll take a few more. Hope you guys enjoy I know I have!

love it.
-
oh yeah! new bows are awesome!
-
Beautiful bow, the only way it would prettier is if it came to my house.
-
It shoots so consistently too, I've been able to shoot quite a few different bows (Mostly recurves) and this bow is just on another level. Stability, smoothness of draw, speed and good looks. The weight, and higher brace height of the bow took me a few days to get a feel for. But I've had the bow for about a week, and it already feels like home.
Very quality product, and built to my specs and I plan on getting alot of use out of it for many moons to come :p
-
 You done good!
-
Oh yeah!!!!! I love it!!!
-
Nice choice on the colors.
-
PURDY :clapper:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!
and that's all I have to say about that!
-
Gorgeous bow!!
-
Nice. Bet it shoots even better than it looks.
-
That is very nice!!!
-
Congrats :clapper: I like it :archer2:
-
Congrats, I love a widow.
-
I could only think of one addition that would significantly improve its appearance.
-
String it up!!!!!!!
-
Once the SBD string hits my house (which should'nt be long) I'll take pictures strung with the quiver/arrows and a few shots into a target. The black and red string does'nt do it justice since it has no red in the bow.
I appreciate everyones comments! Super excited and I'm very satisfied with the bows performance, a pleasure to shoot.

That is the niceset BW I have ever seen

May I ask why you did not go with phenolic s
-
Wood limb tapers look great! Wish I'd done that on my PSA-V. Very sophisticated looking; enjoy!
-
  :bigsmyl: :goldtooth: :biglaugh:

-
Wicked deadly bow, mate!
-
Thats the best BW ive seen thanks Shane
-
Very Nice choice of woods and colors!
God, I love widow porn!
-
The reason I did'nt go with the phenolic, was I wanted the woods color to really come through. Ironwood does not have much figuring, but the tone is real nice to contrast with ash. So I wanted as much of that darker brown tone as possible to really make the white and ash stand out.
I figured if I'm going to order a bow fully to my specifics as far as size, draw length, weight and invest that much money..I'm going to customize it as much as possible to my taste.
I was worried for a while about what it would come out looking like, I had a hard time picturing it in my head. But when that bow arrived I was blown away, and very happy with the decisions I made. Both aestetically (sp??) and performance wise, I'm very happy.

Looks great. Love my Widders. Who says they aren't custom??
-
Now who would say something like that?
I didn't read the caption at first. I thought it was zircote, but surprised to find out ironwood. It is very dark. Once again awesome!!
-
Awesome looking Widow! Is the chocolate swirl on the back of the limbs the ash? Awesome bow!
*that must be the olive ash. Awesome.
-
Now that's a SUPER Stick !!!!!
Very nice!!!

-
VERY NICE! Good job thinking that through. I want a Widow so bad, even worse now after seeing yours.
Have fun with it!
-
Beautiful bow
-
that is one of the nicest widows I ever seen.glad to see they have given people more wood opitions.things were getting a little boring there for a while.
-
Beautiful bow for sure! Bet she is a sweet shooter. Best of luck with the new bow.
-
Beautiful Widow. The only thing better than a new Widow is a new Widow with a SBD string
-
What is the suggested brace height on something like that? And what arrows are you shooting?
-
looks great!!
-
Thats a pretty widow.
-
I have the brace height at the moment a little above 8 1/2, I'm shooting 55/75 gold tips that I had around, I have a new dozen CE heratige 250's that I'm going to tune (Hopefully) with my new SBD string.
With my draw length and weight it is tricky at times to find the right spine, so once my set up is complete I'll mess with the heratige to see if they will bareshaft good. If they don't I'll see about going to the 340's.
-
Nothing like a new bow
-
Wow! Great looking widow. I owned one about 17 years ago...more pics like these and I might have to get another!
