Do they exist? From what I can tell from my brand new Thunderchild, I don't think so. The big guy has produced yet another masterpiece, but what is even better is that it shoots every bit as good as it looks. I couldn't wait to get it strung up, and this is the result of my first three arrows, from about 15 yards.

This beauty is desert ironwood, and it is a stunner. 56", 55# @ 28", and is about as quiet as a bow can get.

"Iron Triangle" seemed appropriate, since I did a bit of hunting in a place with a similar name a 'few' years back.

Once again, Big Jim proves that he is a true artist, but also makes a product that works to perfection.
Gorgeous! :notworthy:
Never seen limb veneers like that, beautiful. I can only imagine how nice the finish is on that bow.
Holy crap.....That is Outstanding.
God Bless, Pierre
Pat you are a lucky man with such beauty in your hands, and she also shoots great. Can not wait until minr is ready, about 3 months. But I have a very nice Big Jim Buffalo already.
Have yet to see an ugly bow from Large James.
That one is no exception.
Love these posts......there's a TC at the top of my list.

A great looking bow for sure. Makes me want the one I have on order from Big Jim sooner......I guess there is an opportunity to step to the front of the line in the St Judes Auction #2.
Wow! Those limb veneers are truly unique and as beautiful as it gets. I love that bow! Your experience as to the TC shooting qualities and quietness is the same as mine. Superior bows without a doubt. Congrats on an awesome bow. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Hats-Off to Big Jim for another Masterpiece. :clapper:

Wow is right i thought i had my veneers picked out for my Buffalo on order now i have another choice oh brother.
Great looking bow, love the veneers, may have to change one of mine when my number comes up,about 5 months I think. Congrat's
Hey Pat, I was just looking at the pic of your shooting again and I noticed that only 2 of those arrows are touching. Something is definately wrong with the bow. Better send it out here to Jersey and I'll get her dialed in for ya'. Big Jim usually sights them in perfectly, but I guess he was busy this time.
Danny,
Yeah, I pulled that shot. I'll just have to keep the bow and try to improve. :bigsmyl:
Jim says that the ironwood I got is a bit different, with both sapwood and heartwood. Sure is striking, though.
I believe that the little feller outdid himself on this bow, but somehow I know that he will continue to amaze us with his expertise.
One of a kind!
Big Jim bows UGLY...Never seen that man make an ugly bow.... on the other hand, Jim himself...well he is a talented guy but probaly won't win a beauty contest, LOL
