After over a year of waiting, my buddy finally got my footage edited from a hunt I went on a couple of years ago. It needed some narration dubbed in to explain the first stalk, but it didn't happen. It looks like I'm sneaking up on the buck in plain sight, but it is just the camera angle. I'm hidden from the bucks view by the rock pile between us. When I pop up for the shot, I'm 25-28 yards away, though it looks like I'm only about 10. Enjoy the video, it'll get you fired up for hunting season! Check it out on stalkerrecurves.com Click on the little square with the four little arrows pointing into the corners of the square below the screen and it'll pop up full screen.
That was cool South! Really good descriptions and stalks I liked the music too. Beautiful country and some great deer. Your pack was pretty full already, how did you talk your wife into carrying that one out?
Great stuff! You did a great job on the hunt and the whole narration. Much respect!
SUPER! After Glory Hogs II, hope you include this footage in your next DVD. I'll be first in line. Todd
Great clip, makes me want to chase Muley's.
Thanks for posting.
Nice clip
That was a real nice video. The scenery was great with lots of animals. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing, good job on the video and stalk.
Great Video. Wow, would be an awesome hunt!
Good stuff! I thought on that first stalk that when you had to frog-hop off that ledge that would be the end of that stalk. I was surprised that with that bucks right eye facing out toward you that you could get that close. Maybe it was just the camera angle or maybe he was just oblivious to his surroundings at that time. I know when I'm laying out in the sun I can get pretty sleepy! haha Thanks, David
great clip!i really enjoyed it.
Great video. The music was a good choice. Had me hanging on the edge of my chair.
Very cool, nicely done, both the stalk and the video.
Great video! What kind of pack were you using on that hunt? If you don't mind me askin.
Good stuff there , hats off to you and your wife

 Another fine video!

Great Video South. Hope you make some more for those of us who are not chasing muleys this year.
Great job man, thats a heck of an acomplishment!
As good as it gets right there.
Great watch there south that was a great buck in the first stalk bet you still dream about that missed shot Thanks Shane
The camera angle on the first stalk really makes it look like I'm totally exposed to the deer. In reality, I could only see the tops of his antlers while I was stooped over--until he stood up. Even then, I had to stand up to clear the rocks in front of me for the shot. Good news is, I have one more successful Nevada hunt archived that hasn't been edited yet and I've got another tag for this year. I drew Colorado for mule deer also, plus I just hired Steve Tadin (who did all the filming and editing for GH2) to come work for me building bows, filming and editing. To say I'm excited would be an understatement to say the least. We'll be starting the next movie this coming weekend with another hog hunt on a different ranch in Nor Cal.
The pack I was using on that hunt is the Badlands 4,500.
Thats some vertical right there ... nice stalking job, both times
Way to go South! Very nice video!
Great video
That was fun. Thanks South. It's been a while since I have done a good mule deer hunt. Gary
Cool hunt. Thanks for shareing.
Now that looks like fun. One day I will make the treck out west to give that a go. Nice stalking skills you have.
Fantastic video! Nothing more exciting than stalking a mule deer in his bed. Talk about pressure packed! I hunted Nevada once. Watching this makes me wonder why the heck I haven't been back. Awesome hunt!

Love it! I've messed up so many stalks on mulies that I've lost count. One of these days it'll all come together. Congratulations BTW!
