Title: St. Judes - feather chopper help
Post by: Northwoods on May 26, 2011, 08:51:00 PM
Hey all,

I am posting to see if anyone can help with an item I posted on the auction.

I am offering to splice feathers for the winning bidder.  I have access to a 5" shield cut feather chopper but otherwise will have to leave them unshaped.  On the auction forum I was asked if I could cut them 5 1/2".  I'd like to meet whatever feather design is requested.

So... I am wondering if anyone would be willing to collaborate with this effort and chop some feathers.  I'll splice 'em up and send them on to someone to cut to size to send on to the winning bidder assuming the winner wants a size/shape that I can't cut.

Thanks everyone.  Once the auction is over I'll see what feather shape is requested and let you know.

Appreciate the help.  That's what makes this site so special.

Thanks to everyone who offered their services to help ensure that this item brought as much as possible for St. Jude's.  Fortunately, the winning bidder has a chopper of the desired shape & size and will be able to chop the feathers once received.
