Picked up this Martin Vision for a song. She is a pretty good shooter but, a little heavy for extended shooting 'til my shoulder gets better. 66", 50# @ 28". I'm pulling 29". Had to put the Selway Recurve quiver on her to quieten her down but, she is good now.

Looks like a bow to take to the hills for deer and elk...........
Thanks Ron. If I hold on to her, she'll be a good all around bow to hit the hills stumping, camping and hunting. And I won't care if she gets some character marks on her either! :D
Absolutely love the look of that riser. Gotta love a Martin.
Since the pictures, I have put on a new rest, waxed the heck out of the string and put on some Jim Neaves Navajo string silencers. I also found that this bow likes a real heavy arrow and ended up getting my best flight with EL 2219's cut 29.5 b.o.p. with a 175gr tip. Total arrow weight around 640gr. This really quieted the bow down to a barely noticeable thump upon release.
I'm developing a real affection for this ole girl! :D
A friend of my has taken a caribou, turkey and several deer with his....I think the more you shoot her, the more you will like her!
