Bow specs:
62" R/D longbow cut to center w/FF string. 47# @ 29".
I would like to have arrows cut 29.5" or 30" BOP and want to utilize a 125gr broadhead. Thanks in advance for any help. :)
I would suggest a 2016 or maybe a 2117.
Charles.
It depends on your draw length. If you draw 29", I would think the 2016's would be the best.

x2
i shoot very similar to that. both 1916s and 2016s work well. after much trial and error i settled on 2016s with 145 FPs and 150 grain woodsman BHs. don
I shoot the same setup. 1916's with 125 grains are it for me. More quiet than 2016's and a tad bit lighter for flatter shooting. My arrows are 30" long.
Thanks for the help so far gentleman. I guess I need to see if I can procure a single shaft of each and play around with them. I'll head over to the Arrow section of the Classifieds and see what I can come up with.
and 2014s are right in the middle. My usuall "go to" shaft for 45# bows........
I would tend to agree with Mr.Abeln. Everyone is shoots a little different though. Bare shaft of each would tell the tale. And you probably could adjust the bow to either one.

In my experiance I've found the 2016's to be more durable.
My specs are very similar to yours, except draw length: 62" R/D longbow cut to center w/FF string, 47# @ 27".
I'm using a 1916 cut to 28" w/125gr point.
I would think a 1916 would be spined too light for your 29" draw.
My money is on the 2016's
I would think either would work, depending on the points up front. I shoot 1916's and 2016s out of my 47# BW PSA III.
2016's for that length without a doubt.
