RC,
Thanks for sharing the pictures. I always look forward to your post. How does the pig hunting season on public land in Georgia work? Is it only open with other game or is it open year round?
I love your pics RC. But why do you always have to show those snakes!!!! :scared:
That water moccasin didn't become bow backing?
Nice looking swamp. We don't have any swamps close to where I live. Thanks for posting all of the photos for us to see.
Cool pictures as usual RC!
Interseptor, Some kind of season has to be in on WMA`s for you to hunt except for a few special pig hunts on a few WMA`s. I hunt Fort Stewart when the WMA`s are not open.Won`t be able to WMA`s until August 15th.Fort Stewart is really good during the hot Summer if a fella don`t mind the heat and ...snakes.RC
Do pigs eat those snakes? Just wondering--1Longbow
Centaur, I did`nt shoot the Snake he was kinda calm and I justed wanted by. A quick flip of the bow limb and he was a very safe distance away.
Longbow, I`ve heard pigs eat snakes but never seen it.

Great photo essay. thanks again for taking me along.
RC, Thanks for the pics, great looking swamp. Love the snakes, we get a lot of rattlesnakes on our place here in MT.
Very good photos. I always like your pic posts. I really enjoy the pics of the snakes too as I'm kind of a "snake nut" myself. Been catching them since I was a youngster and I already have taught my sons how to catch them safely, NON poisonous ones that is. I especially like the pic of the cottonmouth because, contrary to what some believe, they are extremely rare in KY except for the western 1/3 of the state.
Is that first snake a Racer?
Nice story and pictures, thanks for sharing.
Nice......like always...... :notworthy:
 Thanks for sharing! Nice pics.

As usual mate ... just great stuff ...

Very nice thanks for sharing I love Georgia. Every time I pass through I say "I gotta come back here!" I love snakes, always keep a few on hand 'cause there aint to many round here. lol.
ishoot- Looks like a racer for sure. Only caught 2 in my life but chased about 100. Dont call em racers for nothing.

I dont know about feral hogs and water moccasins but our wild russian boars here eat snakes if they find them.

Great pics RC. Thanks for sharing your swamp pics and story.
Nice RC, I look forward to your threads.
A dandy day in the swamp!
Your turf is WAY different than the hardwoods of Michigan. Kinda spooky....
easy to you aee you love the swamp as much as i love the mountains, beautifull for sure, could do without the slithering things though! :scared:
Great photos RC!
It was a beautiful day.
A day like that makes up for no splashes of red and cold BBQ.
They'll be quakin' and shakin' on your next outin'!
