2 months ago my boy Jordan moved in with my wife and I. He's a pretty good kid. Superior athelete, good student, great sense of humor. He loves the outdoors, but had no exposure to Traditional archery, until no. He now has 3 bows, A Wing Falcon, Bear Tigercat, and a Bear Black bear, and he shoots them all well. KHALVERSON is an excellent coach. Here's some pics of the monster that is never too tired to shoot or go bowfishing.

Here's some bowfishing pics from last night. We shot fish with KHALVERSON and his boy Damian. Jordan got his first Trad kill last night. Of course like any smart young man, he had a pic taken with the hawg that Kevin shot!

You have created a shooting partner!
Great pictures!!
Good for you, now you'll have to keep up with him, should be fun. :clapper:
He's got good form. You're a lucky man to have a son to share your shooting/hunting with!
Mike, that is a Fine looking young man you have there.
I really can see your BIG Smile in all the Pics!
You are proud, no doubt!
Damn! I love Bowfishing!
:clapper:
It's good to have a shooting partner, isn't it? Tell him to wash the dirt off of his chin, or atleast start eating hotsauce to get it to fill in. LOL
Good shooting on the carp. I like the smile. I do believe he enjoys the sport.
Nice to read about success, good job mom and dad. Oh and there goes your best hunting spot Mike, lol
mike
glad to be a part of it
had a great time out last night
hopefully the spawn picks up and we can fill some barrels
kevin
Good job dad! Keep fueling the spark and you'll have a partner for life. Mike, I must set you straight on the lad's beard... It's a summer beard! You see, there's some here... some there... You get the gist ;) .
Good job
Thanks for the pics glad to see the tradition is beeing passed on.
AWESOME JOB DAD,YOU MUST FEEL BLEST.
Good monster!
Looks like summer is farther along for you guys.
It was brutal here yesterday! Hot and humid. The targets in the backyard got quite a workout, and the skeeters finally forced us inside. My boy just moved up to the Black Bear and is digging it. He is certainly strong enough for it but the 37# Wing was a great tool to get his form down.
Great stuff Mike! Looks like you have many years ahead of you sharing the passion with Jordan.
Congrats Mike fine looking young man you have there. Now you have a new hunting partner and some one to carry your deer out for you.
Congrats on the new recruit! Awesome pictures too!
Awesome!!!!! Glad another has joined our ranks
The purest of earthly treasures.
Alrighty then nothing cooler than shooting with your son.
:campfire: :clapper:
Another monster - welcome! :clapper:
Another ruined youth... A life pursuing goals and adventure... Shunning modern technology and stifling the economy by seeking rewards that can only be earned not purchased...
What a tradgedy.... (pun intended) :smileystooges:
:archer:
Good onya Mike(and Kevin). Love that first T-shirt,thats gotta be a Hesperia tradition eh?

It looks like you and your monster will have alot of fun over the summer.
Bill
Did you notice the armguard he has Bill?
Seem to be seeing alot more young archers that are shooting lefty.
Yea, I noticed. If I had a lefty,I'd send it your way. That is like flying Old Glory up side down.
Hey Mark,I am just going back out to the shop to spray finish on a particularly nice set of Zebrawood limbs.Any idea who might be able to put them to good use? :D
Bill
Seems like I know some one who likes to shoot bassackwards.
Sounds good MARK
Congratulations! You are going to have a lot of fun together. It looks like he'd be pretty helpful when it comes time to drag out a deer also.
Awesome Bro...
He's a lefty and really put the hurt on those carp. How cool is that. I'm sure you guys will have some good times together.
I haven't needed a deer dragger for a couple years, maybe he can help Uncle John!
sure could use I guy like that to help me drag deer out the woods.
Sounds like he's ready for his own Zipper, just payment for hauling those deer out. :D
I cannot see pictures but can imagine giant smiling faces.
You have me thinking about moving home so I can pick up 3 more bows ;) :p
Good stuff right here. I wish I could shoot with my dad more often. Usually its reserved for one or 2 good days a year.
He's a wrestler can't be all bad. :biglaugh:
Good clean safe fun.!!! Great for the youth.
good to know that donkey basketball is making a comeback.
great pics!
Nothing wrong with that type of monster. It is good to see that he is building a skill that he will use the rest of his life.
Mike, that is just too cool! I'm raising two daughters, but have gone small game hunting a lot of times with one of my buddies son. He's now 20 and just finished basic training in Missouri. Your sons pics remind me of him. Nothing better than getting out with a kid who just loves it. Thanks.
