Title: Morrison riser Dryad limb combo question
Post by: ballen28115 on May 14, 2011, 11:16:00 AM
I've got a 17" Morrison Gen II riser coming in a trade and am seriously thinking of putting a pair of long Dryad Epic longbow limbs on it for a 62 inch bow in the mid to upper 40# range.  Would appreciate some feedback, opinions or thoughts on this combo.  Thanks!

I'd say give Dryad a call.

Yeah, right, already did that.  Really looking for some input from folks who have owned this setup.  Thank you.

I have a 13" Morrison riser paired with XXL Epic LB limbs and I love them (my limbs were bought used and they are the original ones, the new ones I imagine are improved over what I have). Very smooth, stable and fast. I should have a set of Epic recurve limbs coming this month. I can't wait.

Try the Epic LB limbs. You will like them.

God bless,

José

I have a Morrison 17" riser with a set of Hoyt Vector Carbon Foam recurve limbs on it. The Morrison has fairly flat limb pad angles and will add 8-10# on limbs rated on a 25" riser. They added about 6# on my TradTech Black Max limbs.

Very nice riser to shoot.

Our limbs team very well with Bob's risers.  Seems that about 30% of our customers order limbs for Morrison's.
