Our turkey season is over this weekend, and so far it has either been lousy weather, or the turkeys are on the wrong side of the fence. This morning was beautiful; clear, windless, temps in the 40s. I went out to some public ground, and this was the view I was treated to;

There were lots of deer active this morning, and quite a few antelope were seen. Of course, the turkeys stayed on the posted private land, taunting me.

I guarantee that they will be all over the public land by Monday, after the season is closed. But, this morning was a good day to be alive and enjoying the great outdoors.
Ain't that the way it always goes, I have that problem deer hunting. On Monday you would have to beat them off with a stick. Good luck this weekend I hope you get one to cross the fence.
i think them birds can read the regs book and keep a curent calendar handy cause that same thing happens to me a lot good luck and awsome pics you got there
Good luck hope you find the magic clucks or purrs that pull them over the fence.
