Great looking bows and risers Tracy. I'm sure Bill will behave himself, IF, that darn Benjy isn't around!
 :notworthy:
Quite the herd right there Bill! Got a little somthing for everyone!
I saw that osage riser up close when I went out to Bill and Tracy's last month to sand my riser. Wow! The pics don't do it justice.
I think I see a new SXT in my future...
:archer2:
Bill, what do you do in all your spare time. Very nice looking bows. :clapper:
Very nice stuff Bill !!!! :clapper:
Bill
Very nice stuff Bill !!!! :clapper:
Bill
Beautiful stuff!
Now Mike, I would never be the one to make Bill miss behave! (Tracy knows where I live!)
Benjy
Benjy, just because I know where you live does not mean you won't try to get Bill into mischief.

That Ebony riser is the prettiest Ebony I have seen...man is that neat!
Those are awesome
Wow!
Gorgeous collection!I couldn't decide wich one I like the best.
I have a correction. Sorry, Tanner had to be taken back to the hospital last night and I had tears in my eyes when I put these pictures up. The riser in the second photo is NOT Kingwood & Osage, it is Cocobolo & Osage.
I'll be on the lookout for the stoning for the error at the next shoot or when Bill comes home ;) .
Tracy, how's he doing, what's wrong with him?
Those are some outstanding looking risers!!!!
Somehow Tanner got out of the yard on April 30th and got hit by a car. He had a broken pelvis and fractured leg. He had surgery and seemed to be doing well. He came home on Monday and was not urinating on his own and had a lot of genital swelling. The vet thought the swelling was due to the trauma and didn't say anymore about it. So, I took him to the vet on Tues and Wed to have his bladder drained. Yesterday I thought he was urinating on his own, but he would not eat and was vomiting. By 5 pm I thought he was dying. I took him back to the hospital last night. Today the vet said he has a torn urethra from the accident and his urine was being absorbed by his tissue. The waste products in the urine has made him toxic and that is why he is so sick. This can be fixed by IV fluids and a catheter to drain his urine. His urethra will heal on its own. Hopefully after his system is flushed out he will start eating again and get back to his therapy for his broken pelvis.
Tracy, sorry to hear about Tanner. My daughter has 2 doxies, one from the Jenn line and is trying to get a litter this year. They are amazing dogs and companions, smarter and better looking than some bowyers too, eh?
I just returned from the BBTC part 1. Part 2 is tomorrow. Bill told me about Tanner and said he was haing a rough time. Hope he heals up and gets to feeling better soon.
Bill was behaving like a choir boy last I saw of him......
Got a chance to fondle some of these bows firsthand an they are sweeeet! If you can, get by the Baltimore shoot and see for yourself.
JL
Glad to hear you were able to get him to the vet in time. Sounds like he's out of the woods and on the road to recovery.
Sounds like caring owners are going to result in a grateful, healed up dog soon.
The Osage and Cocobolo (formerly known as Kingwood) riser is mine. I'm really happy with my first "semi-custom" riser. :bigsmyl:
I sure wasn't thinking of those wood combinations on my order (had Zircote and Zebra), but like the highest court in the land has opined about a certain topic, you kinda know it when you see it. Hope my riser makes it back from Baltimore without too much fondling. ;)
Anyone have any suggestions for matching lams on the limbs? Was going to get Zebra, but that seems like a lot of reddish/orange in the riser for zebra.
Thank goodness for proactive pet owners and good, caring vets.
I hope the best for your furry friend! We lost our family dog on Easter so I'm fully aware of what you're going through.
By the way, beee-eautiful work on those risers!
Hope Tanners doing better will be calling about a riser.
