Title: Modified Waldrop Pacseat (Pics)
Post by: KYhunter on May 12, 2011, 03:04:00 PM
Just wanted to share some pics of how I modified my chair. After I recieved it I noticed a couple things I thought I could improve on for the chair to suit me better....I did'nt like how reclined the back was....and how the front cut into my legs....I had read on an earlier post how someone had added a swivel seat I found it on Gander Mnt website $10 free shipping and the lumbar cushion on Amazon for around $20 my back gives me some trouble and the cushion seems to support it well.

The last picture shows the chair folded up and ready for transport.

Looks nice.  I'm researching seats for this coming fall.  The Waldrop is definitely on the list.

Yes the seat fits a five gallon bucket and it's quiet.

Don't the cushions interfere with using it as a pack?

Very neat peronalized and functional modifications!

My waldrop served me well this past turkey season, but needs do change and I will keep your modifications in mind.

Thanks for sharing.

The cushions are against your back when packing so it would'nt interfere with strapping a pack on.

Jim,

Anyway you could get a few extra pic's from side angles and with her all folded up, maybe on your back?  I know a lot to ask, but your mods look interesting but would like a better view spread out, thanks.

I hav'nt sat in the chair very long yet but from just trying it out the swivel seat keeps chair from putting pressure on my thighs.
