Title: Turkeys aren't cooperating
Post by: centaur on May 07, 2011, 04:29:00 PM
So, I decided to do a little hiking and stump shooting. It was nice to get out and just fling some arrows, enjoying some time in the woods.
The aspens have not started to leaf out yet...

I took several long shots, but this one was about 30 yards, across a creek. One stump dead. (http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac67/peastes/9bcc5d99.jpg)

Our spring runoff hasn't begun yet, but when it does, this creek will be roily and impossible to cross.

It was a nice day to be alive and enjoying the outdoors, bow in hand.

Finished out the season today with my son and Trad Gang brother - Mark Eddings.

We came, we saw, the birds conquered.

What a wonderful season, for I already have many plans for the next.

Turkeys aren't supposed to cooperate.
That is some magic soil that you tread, thanks for taking us along.
