I was setting on a ridge this morning with my 9yr. old little girl this morning. She turned and looked at me held my hand and said "daddy thank you for taking me turkey hunting, i know it cost lots of money for all my stuff but i really like it." I tell ya guys i dang near cried. Later when we were leaving she says well at least half my wish came true (she wished on a shooting star in the dark on our way in) i asked what she wished for and she says "that we have a great day". I was very humbled that a 9yr old could remind me why we hunt, it isnt all about killing. I asked her what her second wish was she says, "that maybe i could get Big guy, she named a turkey she saw last week big guy" I had to laugh. I tell ya guys its all worth it evry bit of the extra work, what ever it takes to get our kids in the woods its worth it. Thanks for listening, my chest is still a little puffed up with pride.

Thats what its all about !!! Sounds like you had a wonderful and an unforgetable day :)
"Priceless".......is the only words that come to mind. The one thing that you can give your children that nothing can ever take away is the time you spend with them and the memories that are made.
