Or does this happen to you?
Have you ever thought about a new bow or even a previously owned bow and you begin to save up for it? Then low and behold, up it pops "For Sale". The pictures show a beautiful bow, just the right weight, length, the woods you were dreaming about. Then you realize, "I don't have the funds for it!" Then the worst of all happens. It goes "SOLD" within 10 minutes of being posted.
Now, several weeks later, you are flushed with the cash you need for that special bow......and there is not even a hint of one to be found. Ever happen to you?
And the process starts over.......lol. Good luck Danny on what model/weight/length you're looking for.
Yep. Not having the funds and not feeling right about spending funds on hand are the same thing to me. I just let a near perfect Bighorn go a few weeks ago because I couldn't sell a B Mag Riser to prevent buyer's remorse.
Yep. Classifieds everytime. Not sure why as already own enough bows for a neighborhood. When you find a beaut your weight, length, cost, & description.., hard to resist?
Ric', much too often. When you have to sell in order to buy, the timing usually isn't on our side. Ya gotta luv it.

Happens to me, too... err... all except the "flush with money several weeks later" on part!!
Happens to me all the time. I usually hesitate, and bam...it's gone.
OH Yes!....story of my life! I have been looking for a specific weight, hand and length of bow for quite a while....and found them....no funds...as usual. Finally have the funds and put my max bid and was blessed enought to get one. Put your funds back in a good place and you will find the "right" bow again.
Exactly which time are you talking about?
Probably the last 2 years, and then it came together, the right bow, the right price, and the funds, and being the the right buyer.
I am now the proud owner of a Shrew Classic Hunter. :bigsmyl:  :archer2:
Hang in there, it will happen.
Watched several come and go. Finally got the funds and sat and waited patiently,I just put the funds in a safe place and then the bow gods smiled upon me. I was blessed to find three Howard Hill bows in four weeks. Be patient your time will shine.
True with virtually any commodity.
Save 1st, then look. The guy with the cash in hand will maintain the upper hand and be in position to take advantage of good opporunities.
I am not immune to this either or actually I am infected with the same disorder.
Yep, or buy a bow off the classifieds and then someone lists a bow you want really bad right after you pull the trigger. My wife tells me that if I quit looking I wouldn't have this problem. What fun would that be :D .
Hang in there buddy, I've had good luck myself. Was looking for a specific bow, length and weight. It popped up in a few days. I contacted the gentleman to buy it and can you believe one of my bows that did not fit me well was just what he was looking for! Smooth trade and we both got exactly what we wanted. I still can't believe it. :bigsmyl:
:archer:
You are not alone. Usually happens just after I buy a bow that is not really what I was looking for, but was a good deal.

Same here. Never seem to have the money when that "Perfect Bow" becomes available.
That's why I usually just save up and buy new or do without..........the latter happens more than the former.

I couldn't agree more!!
Patience, grasshopper. They make more all the time. Yeah, I've missed out on a sale here and there, but another usually shows up within six months. Sometimes I just advertise for exactly what I'm looking for. They're out there. Good luck. :bigsmyl:
Sounds like my first venture into purchasing stocks.
Mine starts with saving up for the bow but unfortunately it never ends with getting my goal! Look at it this way at least you have a few dollars saved after words.
Oh yeah! Story of my life.
So, it must be another Massie? Or is it another Hill?
just was'nt ment to be
Sure has Ric. I tell you what I do...I keep the persons username that bought the bow and contact them in that case a few weeks later. You would be surprised how many times you will find they don't care for the bow in some way and be able to get it.
Brant -
Ya' know, them Massie bows are really hard to come by. :(
Danny
I try not to look unless I have the money. I did sat try!
I own two bows. I will say again Two bows, TWO BOWS
My wife says I should leave a light on in my archery room all the time. Might keep my bows from multiplying. :p
... mike ...
Oh yes twice so far.first i didnt had the cash, second i had the cash but i was not fast enought :knothead: :knothead:
Happens to me all the time. Great fun looking though. Some times I succeed and have a new bow to play with.
Somebody must have the money when the right bows come up for sale because they are gone before I can even look in my wallet lol.
But I can say I have been lucky a couple times.
