My Holm-Made Bow-Bolt TD Osprey arrived last week from Chad Holm. 60" 51@28" Curly Cherry veneers, phenolic/buginga handle with nice overlays and antler tips to really set it off.
This bow is amazing and at a really great price. The grip fits me like a glove and the finish is just impeccable.
I don't know what it is about the design, but it has extremely smooth and fast with absolutely no shock. Best of all, I had my bow within a month of so after ordering and Chad has been a pleaure to work with all the way. I haven't chronographed it just yet, but I believe that it will outperform most of the longbows that I have.
If you are looking for a bowyer that gives your a super product, I can highly recommend Holm-Made!

Nice.......That's why I have 2 Holm-Made bows.
Very nice, one of the better looking bows I've seen in a good while. I would love to try one someday.
Beautiful! Chad makes a great bow and his finish work is top notch.
Chad makes a great bow at a great price. There is no better LB in my opinion for the price. Ken

The Osprey is possibly the nicest shooting hybrid longbow I've had the pleasure to shoot.
Very nice.Thank you for sharing.
Sawweeet..... she looks great, and love the bow bolt. Chad does it again. :clapper:
Nice bow
Nice looking bow, the Osprey is a great shooting bow and Chad does fine work.
Very nice! I have an Osprey and a River Runner from Chad. Both are excellent shooters and lookers!
I agree with all the above comments! I own 2 Ospreys and very proud of both. And I have owned a lot of bows,These are at the top of the heap!
That looks sweet, except that the shelf got cut out backwards! :jumper: I really like that wood combination. Is that a two piece with a bow bolt?
Really nice, Barry. My buddy Adam has nothing but good things to say about them.
Thanks Barry. Glad it is working out for you. The Osprey has alot of early draw weight, which is why they have a smooth pull to them. Your bow actually has cocobolo in the riser.
It was nice working with you as well. Chad
Nice Work Chad!!!!
If the Osprey shoots half as nice as the River Runner it has to be a keeper!!!
Chad is a great guy to be around and makes an outstanding bow. I have an Osprey that is very similar in construction to Barry's bow, including the BowBolt, and it shoots lights out! I have always said that a Holm-Made bow is the best buy I know of in a high quality bow. If I were limited to hunting with only my Osprey for the rest of my life, I would miss my other bows but still be a happy man. I have shot half a dozen or more Holm-Made bows, both Ospreys and River Runners, and they all shoot extremely well and are very fast, as Barry stated. The early draw weight not only makes them smooth, it also allows the limbs to store more energy and is part of what makes the bows so fast. Between the River Runner and the Osprey, I slightly prefer the Osprey, but other folks may have a different opinion.

I know one thing, There are about three bows I would like to get some day and Chads is one of them. Awsome workmanship Chad. I looked it over close and find no fault with it anywhere. That is a bow that the owner can be thankful to have and the Bowyer can say he was blessed to make.
God bless you all, Steve
Fantastic looking bow. I also have an Osprey, 44# at 28". Chad makes a really good bow..........DaveP
Thanks for all the compliments on this awesome keeper!
Barry, Outstanding. That bow is one awesome looking bow. Congratulations
Great-looking bow berry, I have an osprey, I had three of them at one time, Now I'm down to one !

Very nice bow Barry. Chad sure can make some beautiful bows.
Great looking bow Barry. We need to go try it out on some hogs pretty soon. I will have a chance to go look around prety quick and I will give you a shout.
God Bless,
Nathan
Chad, how ya liking the 64''er you're building now, is the riser longer, or the limbs or a touch of both ? Thank You, Adam
It has a longer riser. 20" Working limb is about the same as the shorter bows. I plan to shoot a bear in June with the new 64" bow. Chad
Thank You ...
 Looks like you got a keeper!
Awesome Barry !! Yeah, they're Sweet !! My New 64''er will be here in a few weeks, The Man is Top Notch & His Bows will Shoot with the Best of em ....
Adam, glad you got Chad to make you a 64"r, you're gonna love it Buddy!
