Get your items listed folks....it will be here before you know it....we will be very busy, and late listings might not be moved in a timely manner.
Please get them posted.....
AND....items do NOT have to be Trad Bowhunting related!!!
Time to clean out the basement! Anything I haven't used in the past year or two would be much better off in someone else's basement
And raise some money for the kids in the process!
Let's all jump in. I gotta get some things up too.
Oooops - now where'd i put my camera? Oh yeah, it's hanging round my neck right where i left it. Gotta git busy with it for St. Jude Auction!!!
Bernie, you always have great auction items! Thanks for donating! Any afghans this year?
I'll get my stuff listed as soon as I get home from vacation. Promise T! :readit:
Yes there will be afghans from Rose, owlbait - thanks for asking. Just not as many as last year. We thought maybe the quantity last year kept the bids lower on them, overall (with the exception of a couple). So we'll try less this time around.

Well, I got a little further along on my listings today. Came across four rainmakers (various sizes, etc.) this year, and decided to take pics of those outside. So I went ahead and listed those today - for music lovers, students, teachers, collectors, decorators, and or whoevers - LOL.
Duh! After I finished posting those 4 items, I found that only the last one (#4) went to the right place. I finally figured out that somehow I had posted #s 1, 2, and 3, to the listing forum for 2010. Wouldn't even think that could happen - but leave it to me. Of course I can't delete them from those archives but don't guess they'll do any harm there until a mod or admin can find some time to delete them. Sorry guys - really didn't intend to make more work for you. I think I'll go eat worms now - I did get them (properly) posted on the 2011 listing forum first though - FWIW.
Heads up.....
LOL Yeah, Terry - I knew that one day - then the next day I didn't. Thanks for the reminder anyway. I knew better, i just wasn't paying attention to what (where) I was doing. :knothead:
No worries Bern....didn't even know that forum was still even accessible....you can bet its not now!!!
:campfire:
HA!
LOL - yeah, when I realized that was what had happened, it floored me too (didn't stop me from feeling like a fool though - LOL)
Gotta get busy now and get pics of some more stuff taken, and posted - IN THE RIGHT PLACE - LOL.
Don't worry Bernie, I did the same thing. Of course being my first time I was waiting thinking a moderator had to put them in public view. Live and learn :)
Ahhh - but don't we all have fun - and feel soooo good after we help in any way we can by taking part in the auctions for St. Jude Children's Hospital? :jumper:
Posted some more items today (finally). Some of them are the type of items I gather throughout the preceeding year to help everyone, who cares to, "play" along a little in our very worthy cause. Of course, being me, I did some forgetting and some omissions that I won't be able to remedy until the auction opens but most are easy to cipher - I'm so transparent - :D . BTW in many of my pictures I include the image of my personal silver dollar piece that was minted in the year I retired from the MC ('72). That is only there for size comparrisons - it is not a part of any item I'm offering
!["" "[dntthnk]"]("graemlins/dntthnk.gif")
. I've been carrying it too long now.
Still have more to post, plus Rose's beautiful afghans - soooooooo - We've only just begun (sing-a-long) - and join in too ;)
Well, I've been saying, "Not as many Afghans this year." However, after I got the other items listed, and we got ready to take pics, measurements, and descriptions of the afghans - we found out Rose had been a little busier than we thought - LOL. So, I hope some Afghan lovers have got their wallets ready this year - for the kids of St. Jude Childrens' Hospital.
Thanks Bern.....you always go above and beyond. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Thanks for that, Terry, I truly do enjoy it and St. Jude has been my favorite cause ever since Danny Thomas first started promoting it - That was before I could even come up with a spare buck, it seemed. I was so glad when you and Doug Campbell put your heads together and got tradgang behind St. Jude. What a glorious and satisfying ride it has been for this ol' hoss, and my wife, Rose also, we can finally do our little bit to help.
