mornin gang I was wondering if brace hieght is measure from the string to the back of the shelf or the center of the shelf?

I measure mine to the deepest part of the grip which is typically the center of the shelf.

from the deepest part of the bow handle ( grip) to the string.

"traditionally". brace height is measured from the string to the deepest part of the handle/grip.

Like others have said from the deepest part of the handle ..If you are new to traditional archery that deepest part of the handle is where the web or thumb and first finger wraps around the grip ...Keefer's <")))><
