Scott,
Well done sir...no place like S.W. Missouri for turkeys.
We're just letting it rain out good in the midwest so it will be sunny and beautiful for the Tenn. Classic.
Congrats Scott ! Turkey with trad gear is a trophy indeed !
Awesome Scott!! That smile says it all.
Catchy title.....nice bird!
arrow30,
Not much to tell really, my daughter and I went out yesterday and they were skirting my DSD jake so I left him in the bag today and just put out the hen. My victim showed up about 6:30ish spittin & drummin and strutting. I was lucky enough to get an arrow in him at about 7 yards and a foot on his head at about 25 and then it was picture taking time. I have been trying to get one with a bullhead but am 0-2 and switched back to the broadheads and string tracker for this one. I hope everyone else has the same good fortune I am having so far this spring with the turkeys.
Very nice Scott. Congratulations!! :archer:

Way to go Scott. Beautiful bird. I hope your luck and success rubs off on me. I've yet to connect with a bow, but I am determined. My season starts this coming Monday.

w8n4rut,
Not sure if I would rather put up with ticks or the snow. They are pretty bad down here this year. Pretty picture but I think by the middle of April I would be tired of snow.
Nice going  :clapper:
