A 64" Competition model that goes to Stacy Shepherd. His bow is has a bubinga riser that has a single 1/4" lamination of phenolic in the riser.
A 66" Competition model that goes to Eldon Boose. His bow also has a bubinga riser, two 1/8" laminations of phenolic in the riser...which are separated by a single stip of wenge.
Both bows have phenolic tip overlays capped with bubinga.
Beautiful bows sir!

Very nice, clean looking bows.
Lee, nice looking bows. Any chance you will be at Compton's with some of those beauties?
 Two beauties!
Thanks for the kind words guys.
Owl, I hate to ask, as I am sure I should already know...but where is Compton?
Compton's is the National Renedevous for the Compton's Traditional Bowhunters and is held in Berrian Springs, Michigan. Thousands of attendees and many excellent bowyers and vendors set-up there.
I thought it was in Michigan, but I wasn't 100% sure. I hate to tell you, but I seldom if ever pay much attention to what goes on up so far north because it is just outside of my means to travel so far.
I would also like to announce that I have a 10% reduction sale on two inventory bows...due to the economy and also because they are already completed.
One is a carbon Protege Competition longbow that is 64 & 1/2" long, and it is 55#@28". The 24" riser consists of highly figured bubinga, 2 strips of phenolic, 1 strip of wenge, and a cocobolo palm section. Here are some photos of it as well as a link to it. http://www.protegelongbows.com/inventory.htm

I also have a short 62" Protege Hunter (clear glass back and belly) model available...but no pictures of it yet. It is 51#@26", 54#@27", and 57#@28." It has a bubinga riser with a single 1/4" phenolic lamination in the riser. The limbs are clear back on back and belly, with bamboo on the back side of the limb core and edge grain red elm on the belly side of the limb core. I can post some pictures of it when I am finished with it. Pictures of it will be posted on my website by the end of this week.
