I've become interested in a Kanati and would like to see some pics and hear what you guys think about them. Thanks!
I thought you'd never ask!
Mine's everything I thought it would be. Got it used two weeks ago in a trade.

I have a bow that I've named Kana'ti (The Lucky Hunter) but it's not by the company of that name.. although those are some nice looking bows.
I got mine a month ago, it shoots great (despite the archer)Jason is great to deal with and does incredible work. The pictures don't do it justice.

Sorry for the odd small pic:)
The 54" is mine Katie, bought it used, it's 55#@25&1/4"(I draw it 26"). I have heard of at least one other 54"er out there, think it resides in NJ now.
Maybe Jason can shed some light on these 54"ers as I don't think I've ever asked.
Btw Ken, love your barkeater, that bow just belongs in the Adk's !!
Yeah I like that green riser also.
just an AWESOME bow and a top notch bowyer!!!
Mine is a 56" 52#@28"

1longbow, sweet looking bow. What are the limb veneers?
My thoughts exactly Fred, those are cross cut camo actionwood veneers I believe. I have ordered the CC brown actionwood veneers on my black canyon.
Here is mine, 58" 51@28

Fred,
Are ya feeling left out with just "ONE" bow in the "STABLE"? I'm waiting to see what other bow will pops up under your name...<")))><
1/4 away ,
Yes those are camo action wood veneer. Its 58" -58# @ 29 "'s
I was really worried about ordering a bow that short with my draw length. Jason said there would be no stacking or hand shock, and he was right on the money. The bow is light and fast and just real fun to shoot, its really a nice design--1Longbow---I have'nt got the picture thing down yet as you can tell
TTT :)

Nice pic Ken.......
Ken, isnt there supposed to be a bloody Turkey in that picture? :D
Jason, there would have been a massacre if he took ONE MORE STEP! SOOOOOOOO close!!!
You build an awesome bow Jason!! :clapper:
I just recieved a new to me Kanati from fellow tradganger Ned.To say I'm impressed would be an understatement.Mr. Kendall you build one heck of a nice bow !
nice looking bows. Do they shoot as nice as they look?
Oh yeah there great shooters. Great speed, quiet, and easy to shoot.
Sleepyhollow,
Nice to see my original Kanati found a good home, still regret selling that one. As far as I know, Jason only built a couple in that length and yours is one of the originals.
Do they shoot well....heck yeah. I have had mine for less than 2 months and there is always someone at the trad league I shoot in commenting on how it zips the arrows and how quiet it is. I have noticed a big improvement on my shooting also, the grip feels so natural. They are great bows, Jason knows what he is doing.

I guess I like them so much I had to post the same thing twice!
:knothead: :knothead:
East Coast-it is the perfect weight for me as I draw it an inch farther than it is tillered for, gives me 58# @ 26" and the 54" length is perfect in the tree. Actually took a spike with it last year from the ground, first time hunting with it, thanks for selling it !!
Jason is a class act and builds one of the best shooting longbows. Randy....
A Kanati waiting patiently for me to find it some action...

Any more new pics out there? I've got to wait until January for mine.
60" walnut riser with cross cut brown lams...
Great Looking Bows Fellas! Thanks for posting!
I could post photos of the 60" 51#@28" that I had, but traded, but I think I'll wait until my new one arrives, also some time in January. Won't say what it will look like 'till then.
I have a Kanati 4-arrow on my 1958 Fred Bear Kodiak. It fits and feels like it belongs.
John was super helpful and super cooperative in ordering my quiver.
I promised John I'd post pics of a bull Elk next season.
I really hate you guys now I've got to have one, again. :biglaugh:
Any day now I should be getting the "your up" signal.
