I have never owned a Morrison before (can't figure out why with all the bows I have had, not even one was made by Bob)
A few weeks ago KentuckyTJ (Tom) sent me a PM that this one came up on the classifieds and was worth a look. I made a request to the seller (benny) and he agreed. The wait began....
Un-be-knowest to me there was another deal happening behind the scenes with this bow, and she showed up yesterday. (Thanks Tom :knothead:
More thoughts later as I start tuneing and getting it dialed in.

that's a beautiful cheyenne.
NICE, real nice!
Looks like you hand picked it.
She is a beaute.
Love the Cheyenne. Thats a beauty for sure.
She's a beauty.
Those are really, really nice bows. Yours especially! I would like to have a Cheyenne someday.
A truly handsome rig Jake. Hope you two can bond. Let us know.
Now that's a fine bow right there! Congrats Jake!
 Very nice!
Hope it shoots as good for you as it did for me. It took me over a year to decide on selling. It was just hanging on the bow rack and not getting shot much.
Bobs low grip just melts in your hand.
Enjoy my friend

Nice looking rig Jake.I like the Cheyenne alot with the deflexed riser.Had a 60 in. A and D limbs and 62 in. B and D limbs and also the Cheyenne with longbow limbs in 60 inch. All were excellant. The A and C limbs should make for a nice shorter bow.
Pretty Bow! If it shoots half as good as she looks you should be in great shape!
I'm old school and Bob's Cheyenne is my personal favorite of his models. Slim in profile, high in performance....nice bows! Looks like you landed a nice one!

That's a great looking bow! I really like the looks of the narrow tips. I've never shot a Morrison bow, but would like to try one someday. You never seem to hear a bad word about their quality or shooting. Thanks for sharing your pictures and have fun with it!

Love those Cheyennes!
Nice Cheyenne Jake. Can't go wrong with one of Bob's bows.
Be careful ! You can't own just one :goldtooth:
Nice looking Cheyenne.
Bob builds one of the best.!
Does Morrison build any 60-62" bows? All I see are 58" on here.
If you check Bob's web site, which can be found here in the Sponsors section above...Click on "other info"... it will take you to "riser and limb charts". [ Cheyenne, Shawnee, and ILF ] That will show you the various combinations that can be put together along with the suggested draw length's suggested for the length bows your thinking of putting together..
One thing as Caution !! Bob's bows are addicting ;) I currently have 5 including: 2 ILF's, a Shawnee, a Cheyenne, and a earlier "T/D" [ basically a Cheyenne prototype as it takes the same limbs ]
My "B" length "T/D" riser and a set of "D" length bamboo limbs give me a 62#62" T/D R/C which is the fastest bow I have ever owned.
If you check out those charts you'll see that it's possible to get a :
Shawnee up to 64-68" with a set of "F" on one of his 3 basic riser lengths.
Cheyenne's, up to 60-64" with "D" limbs depending on riser length.
ILF's can come in at 62-68" with XXL limbs depending on riser length.

Great looking bow thanks for posting Shane
very nice! i bet she shoots great too!
Jake is looking for a set of B or C foam core limbs for this Cheyenne if anyone has a set they would like to sell or trade. I believe in the 50-54 range.
The Cheyenne is one of the most attractive, comfortable and stable riser designs I've ever laid my hand to. Combine that with performance (never shot a Morrison that was a slouch), durability and retained value and there is no way to lose. It is my favorite of the Morrison line.
You are a lucky man Jake, enjoy your bow.
