My new to me Howard Hill bows arrived this week. The one on the right is a Badger 58 inch 48#28 with ebony riser, black glass and ivory tips. The one on the left is a 68 inch 50@28 Wesley Special with clear glass, vera wood riser and deer horn tips. All I can say is wow and thank you to all contributors here for making my decision to try Hill bows possible. Both these bows flat shoot for me.

Nice looking bows there. A 2 hour drive for me to come help test that badger out? :)

Yeah, that Badger looks cool!
Nice bows partner. Like to know which becomes your favorite & why?
The person I was buying the Badger from had two of them (both sold). The one I was looking at was not this one. He happened to mention having this ebony one and I purchased it. It is much cooler looking in person and very pleasant to shoot. Photos do not do either bow justice.
Very cool! Off subject but do you have traditional shoots in your part of KS?
2 new Hills at the same time!!! Both very nice, lucky you. :notworthy:
great bows , true tradition
Very nice , congrats and enjoy!
Have fun!
Nice !
Are you shooting a real heavy arrow off the straight Hill bow? Very nice, never could shoot a Hill except I owned a Badger once and that I shot pretty good. Congrats! Shawn
Shooting a full length Gold Tip 35/55 with 50 grain brass insert and 40 grains PDP weights behind it and 125 field tip with 5 inch fletching. I shot my arrows with it and it was ok. I then tried my son's arrows which is what I described here and they are grouping tight. I am going to play with the weight to see what works. I have only had the Wesley since about noon and the Badger came Tuesday.
Very nice! I've always liked the looks of HH's.
You lucky dog you!
So how do you decide which one you want to shoot and does one get jealous when you shoot the other?
Nice looking Hills! That ebony is awesome!
It is going to be hard to decide which one to shoot. They both are pleasing to shoot.
Bravo! :clapper: Congrats on the new bows! I'm partial to longbows but that Badger is very striking with the ebony riser & black limbs.
The ebony was what sealed the deal for me. I plan on using the Badger to hunt turkeys and possibly from a ground blind.
NICE LOOKING BOWS,,CONGRATS
