Well, the skins arent finished yet but are dry. This was a 7 year old 6 foot long gray phase trans pecos rat snake. It died a couple of weeks ago and I decided to pay tribute to the beast by pairing it up with a Tall Tines. The colors match the charcoal riser really well. I added a couple of small elk shed antler butts to the limb bolts and here it is!
Im really liking this bow, shoots really well. Feels very natural in my hand, only felt that with a Tip in the past. Fairly hefty as I like, great draw, quick and strong.
Great job Brian, you make one HELL of a bow. Hope he reads this.
I may carve bear prints in the antler bolts, I think this bow is coming with me in September to Kake Alaska for king sized blackies.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done to it... I recently got a 58"51# Myrtlewood one from Donald Rowan in trade, and like you... I'm liking it alot!

Oh yeah! She is a looker.
Grey phase trans pecos rat snake's are not known to be venomous until they team up with a Tall Tines.
Congrats!!!!!!!!

Classy bow!
Can`t say I remember seeing one like that!!!
I think even the snake would agree that those skins look better on your bow than on his back.
