Title: Martin Hatfield limb pivot question
Post by: night on April 13, 2011, 07:38:00 PM
Does anyone know the size of the ball bearings used as limb pivots on the older Martin Hatfields?
I have one and the limbs do not seat completely against the riser. Is this the way they should be or are the ball bearings too large?

Thanks, MC

From what I remember a small gap is normal. Hap

I have one also. The limbs do not seat against the riser. The limbs ride on the ball bearings. It actually works pretty well. I have shot more with that bow than any other. When I bought mine new the shop owner epoxied the balls into the riser. Gary

I believe they are 1/2". They are designed to act as a pivot, so your bow is normal.
