Title: What kind of silencers are these?

These silencers came on a Shrew I bought a while back and they work great. I'm not familiar with the look of the fur.

Anyone know for sure what it is? (Sorry, the pictures are as clear as my cell phone would get them.)

They remind me of the wool ones that Centaur sells.
(those work fantastic, BTW.)

Maybe Musk Ox (qiviut). 3 Rivers sells them and they work really well--very water repellent.

Look like Navaho Wool silencers. Jim at Centaur sells them and they work great.

Could be Fastflight stripped with acid I know some fellows who used to use that process..

Kind of look like Wooly Whispers, however, Wooly Whispers are usually a little more multi-colored. Wooly Whispers are wool yarn. Yours look like they could be wool, but they also could be natural fur of some sort.

Thanks for the replies guys and gals. I was kinda thinking muskox myself. They DO work very well.

The color resembles the musk ox but the texture resembles the bison. ??? At least in the big pictures on 3Rivers

I have both the bison and the musk ox ones from 3 Rivera and they look most like the ox, IMO.
