I've been meaning to post this for a while but a divorce, school, kids, job and house hunting have left me with very little time to shoot or get on Tradgang.

I bought this bow on Chad's "Spring Clearance Sale" and I am very impressed. It is 60", 49@28", red elm core with brown glass limbs, and the riser is nutmeg/brown actionwood.
Looks/Fit & Finish: I love the classic looks of the brown glass and the overlays on this bow are amazing. I found a couple small sanding marks/blemishes on the bow but they aren't noticable unless you're really looking for them and for the price I paid I consider them completely acceptable.
Shooting/Performance: The bow has what Chad calls a medium/low grip and I would agree with him. It is a very comfortable and consistent grip. The bow draws very smooth and stack free at my 28" draw and still feels smooth when I overdraw it to about 29". The bow is silent! The only noise I'm able to hear is my tab slipping off the string. The bow had a tiny bit of handshock that I didn't notice until I focused completely on the handshock aspect just for rating, it wasn't a problem at all but I put a Big Jim quiver on the bow and now there's no handshock at all. Speed, well I don't have a chrony so I can only give my opinion and comparisons. For a bow so silent and dead in the hand I wasn't expecting much in the speed department but I was very wrong. This bow spits em out with authority and I don't notice much of change in impact from point blank back to 30yds, my 550+gr. arrows hit about 2in lower at 30yds than they do at 15yds and they rock the target when they hit. I'm very impressed with the bow and will be adding another to the stable whenever I get my life straightened out. ;) For anyone looking for a great longbow at a very good price then I suggest you give Chad a call, I believe you'll be glad you did! :archer2:

Ken thanks for posting review, I am also really impressed with chad's bows and my next bow in the future will be another lost creek. I really have been considering a legend but now you have me thinking about the legacy. I dont think one can go wrong with any of the lost creeks.
I went by Chad's this weekend. I shot a few of his bows. I liked the medium grip also. Ordered a Life Ender 58" 48@28. Now its just the waiting period. Hopefully it won't take to long. Will try to post pictures when I get it.
Not a 58", a 56". Just waiting...
Terry, I will be working on your bow next week. I've been shooting a 62" 40@ 28" "Legacy" I build the bow from 58" to 64". All the bow Models are my favorite in their own way. Every model has a special purpose, and of course work better at different draw lengths. I have 6 different bow forms, and although it gets crazy building so many models, thats what makes it better for so many many different shooting styles. Chad
Chad, I have 3 different bows from you & I love them all. One of your older models, the NAT , & the Life Ender. So glad I bought that Life Ender. Thought I was going to order the recurve from you but spent $1500 @ the vet instead. Will order it when I get the funds built back up. Keep making those great bows. We all love them.

I was fortunate in coming up with a VERY unique little longbow from Lost Creek. The story behind it is as awesome as the bow is. It is 52"s tip to tip when strung, 52#s@28"s and at my 27" draw it is smoooooth! I absolutly love this little bow; it is fast, quiet and accurate! Chad builds a great bow!
