Great job Steve!!
I love it all ... I do however think I've seen that hat somewhere before...lol
God bless,Mudd
Some really good work there!
I had just sent a note to Roy telling him how my spine surgery went bad and they had to rush me to the hospital 200 miles away for an emergency surgery because of infection. So ther I am recovering with nothing to do ,SO thought I'd make myself a matching back Quiver and matching Haversack with sort of a Mountain Man Flair, made the buffalo horns to along with some shafts from Braveheart my kids gave me for Christmas and it all matches my great looking Hat from Roy.I can't thank him enough.Hope you all enjoy.
Nice work Steve, and hope your feeling much better. Take care.
Heavy stuff Steve, spinal infection! I hope you are mending well, best wishes from DownUnder. Your leatherwork is very nice, including the whip-stitched edges.
Wow, great work Steve!
The quiver is beautiful!
I can imagine the difficulty you are having with your back problems - not just the significant pain you deal with but the testing of your patience as you heal. I am praying your recovery will be quick with amazing results.
Mighty fine l looking gear sir! Prayers for a full and quick recovery!
Thanks for the pics Mudd.
Talk about recovery well used! Congrats
Very Nice! :)
Get better soon Steve :)
Steve--BEAUTIFUL!
If you are still looking for more to do, you should make up another sack and backquiver like that for the St. Judes Auction. I would definitely bid high on that!
Actually, if you are interested, shoot me a PM or e-mail and I will buy all the materials you need.
Keep on healing and those big muleys will be waiting
A fine craftsman.
Great work.
Here's wishing a speedy, and complete recovery.
Via con Dios.

Mudd! Thank You for posting the photo's of Steve's recovery project, along with your hat. They are match a matched set. You both have a talent as I told Steve that I only wish I had. Beautiful work Steve! Keep Mending! Thanks Ken
Maxx and I got together this last weekend and it was a true joy meeting Ken and spending the afternoon discussing Trad and hunting.A finer gentleman you couldn't meet.So many good people on this site.True brothers and sisters of the bow.
The pictures don't really show how much sewing went into these items.I've probably made 12-15 back quivers.Everytime I make one it got traded for something else, this is actually the first one for myself.I wanted something to pass to my grandkids.
Very nice Steve. Get well soon, prayers for ya.

Steve,
My prayers are with you on your recovery brother...Sorry to hear of the infection...I was blessed not to get an infection during my Disc replacement and hardware installment...Back surgery can be very painful and can take years to mend...You are a good man Steve and I show your knife and binocs to all who come here and I won't ever forget the kindness you showed a few Christmas's ago for my friend Bruce with the knife you sent me to give to him....He was very touched that a perfect stranger would have compassion to send such a nice gift to someone they never met...Get well soon Steve and nice looking set up and good talent you have....God Bless, Keefer's <><
Hi Steve,
Prayers for a speedy recovery from northern Quebec.
Beautiful gear! You are quite a man... big talent and a heart to match.
I have visited Saskatchewan quite often as I have relatives in Imperial, Watrous, and Saskatoon.
Sincerely, Ken
Steve, great work and I hope your recovery goes well. Patience helps, it was a good six months before I started to think I would get back to somewhat normal after my new hip surgery. Having some interesting work sure helps the time go by. Bob
I want to thank everyone for all your support and encouragement. It really means alot.
Nice work, get well soon......G.O.

Mudd, your right I'll try to get the old gal to take a mug shot,it might be blurry though as she has a hard time keeping from laughing. She says it sort of suits me.( F.O.T.N.) Friar of the north !
Looking good Steve, hope you get better soon. With all them heavier poundage bows you got I dont want you have to send them all to me.
Glenn,I vowed to myself before and after this operation I'll be back shooting those bows I'm working on it!LOL,Besides at this stage of life everyone says I'm to stubborn to quit.God you'll have some nice bows Glenn if it doesn't work out!LOL.
