ever since that recent post about the dangers of carbon arrows, I've been real diligent about checking my carbons every time. Well today was no different, took a shot and heard the arrow go through the target and hit the backstop. As I was walking back I was looking at the arrow and it looked fine, flexed it and it looked ok, but as I flexed the tip, CLICK, not using that one anymore. Got spooked and pulled out my aluminum arrows for the rest of the day.
WOW CLOSE CALL,,,
Caution and maintenance makes for a happy archer. Always check any shaft that hits something hard or unknown if you miss the target.
