A good tradgang friend, whom I have never met but admire and respect, asked if I would attempt to repair a back quiver that he had owned for some time. I dabble in leather occasionally only because years ago, as a lefty, I never could find holsters and such in left hand too easy.
I told him to send it and it arrived this week. I happen to live near a leather supply wholesaler and retailer. I dropped by there today and searched their scrap boxes. I found the perfect piece for the project.
The quiver is a nice black leather RH; likely from the mid-late 60s. I was about three or four when it was made. Funny how good old leather stuff lasts.
Here's a photo of the quiver as it arrived.

I'll post some more later. Laptop is acting up.
:campfire:
I had to disassemble the straps. I took lots of photo so I would make sure I got it back like it should be.

I used Fiebings saddle soap and a touch of black Kiwi boot polish.
Thanks again for all the kind words.
I am both honored and grateful that you were willing to help me with this project.
Thanks, Bud.
Charles.
It's an honor to do it. I need to get over to AZ and meet you some day. My wife loves AZ. I've never been. Maybe kinda soon. I retire in three years.... ;)
