I finally get to meet Dale (30pointbuck) and do a little stump shooting. Noting is better than meeting new/great people from tradgang and getting to share the combined passion of traditional archery with them.

Nah no gobblers. There are a few in this area of the public hunting. But I plan to stick near the creek in the flood area away from anyone that might behunting. I dont think that Adult turkey season opens until the 12th anyways Just youth.

If your down in the creek bottoms you might even find a mushroom or two? I hear they go well with stump steaks.

You might want to don a blaze orange cap if it's the youth turkey season? Just a thought.

Kansas archery opened the first of April. The gun season opens on the 12th.

I had a great time with Dale other than one big snake that we seen. It got a little warm but was well worth it. Being on public ground we were able to see alot of deer sign and places where we could hunt. Being so close to one another hopefully scheduling will allow a hunt or two togather.

James it was a great time buddy, lookin forward to it again in the near future. (not with the snakes) lol.
