I just finished it... Well not exactly. It is a 54" ntn pyramid board bow that starts at a full 3 inches. It is made of hickory but has a couple of grain violations, but it hasn't been a problem yet.
Does anyone here(I am expecting many of you) know of a place that I can get some rawhide backing that is at least 3.5 inches wide? I don't want any problems with this bow and would like a little security. The bend in this thing is just too amazing for me to get careless about runouts.
The bow turned out 47# @ 26" with 1" of set.
