Tonight, I was shooting at 15-18 yards. I decided to see what I could do with different points, adjusting my rest, and bare-shaft tuning. Lo and Behold! I can change point weight and move my rest and I'm able to make the arrows group together! I can put them back, and make them group again! I understand! Thank you guys for all your help. When I started I had mismatched arrows and went thru tuning-hell not knowing how to tune at all. I almost gave up, and worked on my rifles awhile instead. But after getting these new arrows, and reading uber threads again, I was able to make it work! Thanks everyone!
It truly is enlightening when it all comes together.
Every beginning archer should learn the fundamentals of bareshaft tuning.
Congratulations, you have reached another level.
Oh man, it feels good. I tried four different point weights and could tune each one with my adjustable rest. Too excellent!
